Branding and art direction for Natural Element, a London-based record label and music platform founded by NTS and Voices Radio host Leopold.
Natural Element’s concept is rooted in nature and the organic. Inspired by instrumental music like jazz, the label’s identity is shaped through handmade craftsmanship and texture. The logo, created using an analogue process — an ink stamp as a visual instrument — reflects this tactile, physical approach, echoing the warmth and tactility of the music itself. Another key element is the use of nature-based photography — such as flowers — which is then abstracted through texture and transformation.
The playful, human logo contrasts with a layout defined by sharp edges and a central split, creating a recognisable system for future releases and a distinct visual identity.
