This project focuses on the composition of moving image and sound, realised at Folkwang University in Essen. I directed a short video and composed the sound. The music and visuals are interdependent. 

I created a piece called “Streichquartett”, which translates to “string quartet” in German. The verb “streichen” also carries the dual meaning of “painting”. The final composition is thus created by a quartet, in this case, four painters. In post-production, each person was assigned a sound.
